What We Did Today:
Students discussed Chapter 12, Section 2 and used a note-taking guide/summary sheet to help with summarizing skills. Students started reading Chapter 12, Section 3 in class. Students defined the bolded words in the section using the reading, not the glossary, to build familiarity with context. 1. The spread of mills in the Northeast changed workers' lives.
2. The Lowell system revolutionized the textile industry in the Northeast.

Homework:
Finish reading Chapter 12, Sections 1 and 2 if not completed in class.

There will be an open-book test over Chapter 12 on Tuesday, March 28.
