Thursday, October 18

Science: We reviewed some key points for daily sciences #1-24 in preparation for tomorrow's daily science quiz. All classes continued working on the "How Fast Am I?" IB inquiry lab. 2nd & 3rd hours worked on their rough drafts which are due tomorrow, final drafts are due Monday. 4th-7th hours worked on their final drafts which are due tomorrow. We will start reviewing for the Unit 1 Test tomorrow, which is Friday, October 26.

Geometry: Went over 3.1 homework and notes for 3.2 (parallel lines and angle relationships). Homework is the 3.2 worksheet. 3.1-.3.4 quiz will be on Wednesday, October 24.

Humanities: Students were introduced to and worked with our American History atlas in class. Homework is to complete a current event.

ELA - Students reviewed the Elements of Science Fiction, read "Future Tense" by Robert Lipsyte, and took notes during Independent Reading.  Tomorrow will be a quiz on Vocabulary List #5 and the elements of the two short Science Fiction stories we read this week; "Rain Rain Go Away" by Isaac Asimov and "Future Tense" by Robert Lipsyte. We are looking forward to seeing you at Parent Teacher Conferences next week on the 24th & 25th. Homework:  READ!  Journal Entry #33 , Study for Quiz

Spanish I: Study for the 1.2 vocab quiz (part 1) on Mon, Oct 22nd

Course 3: First hour-No homework. 2nd and 3rd hour-worksheet on distributive property. Evens only. 4th and 5th hour-worksheet 2.7, #7-12, 17-21. 5th hour had the option of picking an alternative sheet.
