Tuesday, November 4

Science: Students investigated how speed changes on the flat track compared to when going down hill to begin our discussion of acceleration.

Geometry: Continued investigating reflections over parallel lines.

RR English: Read every evening; Reading log is due Monday, November 10-parents must sign reading logs.

RR Math: A section of math should be completed each night; A section of math from their math packet should be completed each evening.


ELA- We continued our study of Pronouns with Grammar Chapter 3 Lesson 7: Pronoun-Antecedent Agreement. While students worked on this worksheet I met with students individually. We discussed the reading they did last marking period, what worked what didn't and set their goals for 2nd marking period. Most students should be reading books that are 10 points or above. This can be checked on ARbookfind.com. Homework: Journal 2.2 (new marking period), READ!, Grammar packet.

Humanities: Students analyzed political commercials in class today. No homework.

Algebra: We discussed graphing linear equations using the x and y intercepts (4.3). Homework: 4.3 worksheet
