We then discussed the formulation of a thesis statement. We looked over our note cards, decided on a statement that reflects the individual student's opinion on the topic. Students then divided their facts into 3-4 piles = one pile each for their three provable points and possibly one for their opposition's viewpoint. We discovered if any of our information was unusable for our point of view and if we needed to find more backup for one provable point. We will start organizing our information on Friday, so we need to be sure to have a good thesis statement, three clear provable points in that thesis statement, and at least three facts for each of their provable points. TKM: Packet for chapters 16-18 due tomorrow - there are three pages due complete for this chapter section.Tech: We reviewed what each student has not turned for Moodle Modules 1 and 2. All Moodle assignments are due by Friday. If you have questions as to what the students are doing in Moodle please have them login with you. The icon with the hand holding a piece of paper is an assignment that is to be turned in. Check that assignment to see if your student has submitted the assignment, if not they need to.
