Corrective Reading: Reading logs are due Monday. Remember, if your parents do not sign off on it, you will not get full credit. Choose a different readers response for each of the five days.
Resource Room Math: Homework will be due next Friday, one week from today. If you turn in your homework early I will check it so you can use it to study for your math test next Friday. Enjoy the weekend.
ELA - I apologize for not posting yesterday, I was out sick
:( I am in today, to help facilitate the final drafting process. "Day 12" is a
review of formating on the computer. The students were shown this, we discussed
it, and we reviewed how to make all this happen on a computer. Final draft due Monday at the beginning of class. Please
check rubric to be sure all points are addressed. Any problems with printing
should be addressed during lunch, not as class starts. Homework: Literary Essay Final Draft, READ! Be sure you are at
Journal entry #17 if not, writer over the weekend.
Humanities: Students reviewed 7.3 guided reading, worked on a map of the battle of
Yorktown, and watched student news in class. If the map was turned in at the end of the hour, there is no homework.
Spanish (Tomlinson): Do "Práctica"--chapter review: para lunes (due Monday). TEST 1.2--Friday 11/22
Algebra: Homework - IB assessment (if it wasn't finished in class) and Graphing

Pre-Algebra: Today we created an ISN page that orders that steps to solving algebraic
word problems, provides helpful hints and gives an example to show each step. HW: Quiz Monday over multi-step solving equations (distributive property,
combing like terms, variables on both sides). 3rd Hour - finish word problems Example worksheet
Course 3: Homework-worksheet 5.8, all, skip 9.
Spanish 2: Go on my blog (franciscaroth.weebly.com) and print out the two worksheets
under the Vocabulary and Grammar section. They are due on Monday and we will go
over them in class. Study for the quiz on Tuesday on direct object pronouns and the quiz on
Wednesday on the present progressive tense.
French I: Study for the unit quiz on Monday 2.1
Spanish (Farah): WHAT WE DID TODAY: Today, we took a practice quiz on vocabulary and gender and number
agreement, described people in photographs from the overhead, and went on a
treasure hunt. HOMEWORK: Study for Vocabulary Quiz Retake, on Monday. Finish Treasure Hunt if you
didn't finish in class. Unit 1.2 TEST Friday, November 22.
