Math 8 - Stone

We looked more into inequalities today. We realized that the rule of flipping the inequality sign when multiplying or dividing by a negative number can be easy to forget. Don't forget to go back at check your answer in the original inequality to see if it makes sense.

2nd and 3rd hours:  Complete the worksheet on the Law of Reflection. 

Science-Wilcox-Thursday

Classwork: Today we reviewed our Sound & waves test as well as the first section of reading/questions on light. We then read about and discussed how light is reflected by matter and the law of reflection.

Homework: Law of Reflection homework is due Monday. A protractor is needed, so if you don't have one at home, you can print one off the computer.

Canvasser Thursday 5.18.17

RR ELA- Reading logs are due Monday ( 5.22.17) students should be reading for a minimum of 30 minutes, for five days a week.  Students must also complete the short reader's response section, along with having a parent signature for all five days.

RR Math- The red group can complete workbook pages ( Week 4, day 1 in their division book and Week 3, day 1 in their data analysis book) if not finished in class, the blue group worked on homework and test corrections. The signed homework packet and multiplication sheet are due on/before Wednesday ( 5.31.17) the math test will also be on Wednesday ( 5.31.17). Students workbook pages, homework packet, and notes are greats study tools!

*Students need to bring their AR books to class and home daily!*
