Science: Finished collecting data for "How Fast Am I?", calculated speed and started working on the graphs. Tomorrow we will complete graphs and do the research. 3rd hour does not meet today or tomorrow due to the MEAP, they need to complete the research on their own for homework.
Geometry: Completed 2.7 notes (using angle relationships in proofs) and went over the 2.6 homework. 2.7 worksheet is homework. We will not have geometry tomorrow due to the MEAP and Fun Run. Chapter 2 test is Monday, October 17.
Language Arts: MEAP! Students that met for ELA were shown a Science Fiction video (from the Martian Chronicles), given time to read their AR books or take quizzes, work on their Subject/Predicate packet, or work on their The Giver weekly reading and journal. Please be sure that your student has a novel to read after the MEAP, it is a great time to get some AR reading under their belts!
Humanities: Students corrected 1.1 section assessment, read 1.2 and worked on 1.2 section assessment in class. Homework is to finish 1.2 section assessment. Current events due Wednesday.
Algebra (Mr. Hill): MEAP testing
Spanish I: Information meeting about the trip to Chicago for parents is tonight at 6 PM in the media center.
