Sept. 10

Science: Today we began collecting data for the candy coated lab. We will continue collecting data tomorrow and will work on writing up the lab next week. Signed letters are due tomorrow & supplies need to be purchased by Monday.

Geometry: Today we completed our comic proofs and students received their textbooks. The books should stay AT HOME as we have a classroom set here to use. Signed letters are due tomorrow and supplies need to be purchased by Monday. 1-1 notes for homework.

Algebra: Chapter 1.1 Homework as assigned on Stamp Sheet

Pre Algebra: Chapter 1.1 Homework as assigned on Stamp Sheet

Algebra 2: Chapter 1.2 and 1.3 Homework as assigned on Stamp Sheet

Course 3: Chapter 1.1 Homework as assigned on Stamp Sheet

Language Arts: Students took the Botel reading assessment test. HW: Their summer reading counts book should be completed. Students will be applying the book they read to the writing prompt that will be given in class on Friday. This will count as a quiz grade. Signed letters are due - homework grade


Journalism: Worked on their personality profile interviews. Students started writing their rough drafts. HW: rough drafts are due Wed. Sept 15th. Signed letters are due with the interview question "Why is the news important?" - homework grade.

Humanities: Current event forms need to be signed by parents and returned to class ASAP. 8th Grade Humanities KWL is due Friday.
