Midterm Schedule

Algebra: January 16 & 17
Geometry: January 23
Spanish 1: January 28 & 29
Spanish 2 & French: January 30 & 31
Science: February 4

Science: Completed the notes from yesterday and talked about potential & kinetic energy transforming as the car rolls down the track. We then practiced using the formulas for potential and kinetic energy. Homework is the potential and kinetic energy worksheet. Students must be careful to apply order of operations correctly when calculating kinetic energy! Energy "Quest" Wednesday, January 22.

Geometry: Took what we've learned about similarity and triangles and applied it to problem solving. Homework is the 5.5 practice. Dilation & similarity "Quest" on Friday, January 17.

Humanities: Students checked 9.1 section assessment and were introduced to 9.2 in class. Homework is to complete a current event for tomorrow.

C. Reading:  Reading logs are due one week from today.  Next Tuesday.  All sections need to be filled out.  You may read the same book you are reading for ELA AR quizzes.  Many of you need to take more AR quizzes.

R. Room Math:  The test will be this Friday.  Homework will also be due this Friday.  If you turn your homework in by tomorrow (Wednesday), I will check it and give it back tomorrow so you can use it to study from.  I will not accept homework on Thursday. *Parents please note:  I will be at a conference all day on Thursday.

Spanish II: Ex 3,4,5 pg 276. Due tomorrow.

French I: Study purple words (first set) on pg 101 for the 3.1 unit quiz tomorrow.

Chinese: We are making corrections to the unit test, and start to organize the dictionary.

Algebra - We continued reviewing for the Midterm.  Homework tonight is to finish the Practice Exam (attached)

Spanish (Tomlinson): 1.3 Test tomorrow. Attached reviews are OPTIONAL. Review with chart given out in class on 1/13 due tomorrow. Midterm-January 28 and 29

Pre-Algebra: Today we reviewed for Thursday's Geometric Transformations Test. We also completed a sort of transformation terms and graphs. We organized, labeled and glued them into our ISN. HW: Transformation Review Packet (7-21 odd). Transformations Test Thursday! Please bring all 5 notes packets to class tomorrow.
