Classwork: Took some notes on proofs using triangles and then worked on the partner quiz. We will finish the quiz tomorrow.

Homework: Proof Handout 1

Discussion Starters: What was most frustrating about today's quiz? How can working in a group be beneficial? How can it be challenging?
 

Science- Wednesday, November 18

Classwork: Notes on Newton's 1st Law, Inertia & Net Force

Homework: None

Discussion Starters: How is the classic "removing a table cloth quickly from a table and the plates, cups, etc... stay put" trick just an example of the 1st law of motion?
 

Canvasser 11.18.15 Wednesday

RR ELA- Reading logs are due Monday (11.23.15)
Students should be reading for a minimum of 20 minutes (5 days a week)
Do not forget to do the short reader's response section, along with a parent signature!

RR Math- Students continued  working on test and homework corrections if not completed in class.
Blue group- Finish working on workbook pages, if not completed in class.

Dixon Language & Literature

Classwork: Students completed Day 7 of the Literary Essay Writer's Workshop.
Homework: One page free write.
 

Individuals and Societies

-Students checked chapter six tests, discussed the field trip and were introduced to an Amendments mini-project in class today.
-Homework is to work on the project. 
-Projects are due Monday and we will begin the preliminary rounds of the Geo Bee Monday as well.
