Today we completed: Grammar - Unit 2 - Lessons 1.4 & 1.5

Don't forget to read at home! Reading points are due 1/25!

 

Science-Wilcox-Wednesday/Thursday

Classwork: Students started researching their alternative fuel choice. They are provided with website resources (on the blog), books in class, as well as an outline format (extra copies in the science folder) for recording their notes. They will have another day for research tomorrow as well as two days next week. Their note packet will be checked for a grade on completeness/effort toward the end of next week.

Coming up: Daily science quiz tomorrow (#55-72). Students will start composing their argumentative essay in ELA over the next few weeks using their research from science. Due date will be forthcoming.

Spanish 2

Today we went over the answers to the review packet and took the Unit 6 Post-test. Students started the review section on page 214 of the book, but it is also available on VHL if they would like to check their answers before tomorrow.

Speaking Midterm: Wednesday, January 25

Midterm Exam: Thursday, January 26-Friday, January 27

*Midterm study materials are available on Ms. Dixon's website (www.berkleydixon.weebly.com). There are also practice tests for each unit on the textbook website (www.vhlcentral.com). We will be reviewing in class next week.

 

Canvasser 1.19.17 Thursday

RR ELA- The reading logs are due Monday ( 1.23.17) students should be reading for a minimum of 30 minutes for five days a week. Students must also complete the short reader's response section, along with having a parent signature for all five days. The grammar quiz will be on Friday ( 1.20.17) students should study pages 24-31 in their grammar packets.

RR Math- Blue group can finish workbook pages ( week 4, day 3) if not completed in class. The signed homework packet and multiplication sheet are due on/before Wednesday ( 1.25.17), the math test will be on Wednesday ( 1.25.17).
