Science

Classwork: After reviewing notes, we spent time discussing the inquiry lab. Students should have the purpose, hypothesis, materials, and procedure sections of the lab planner complete for Monday. Monday/Tuesday we will be completing the experiment portion in class. Time will also be given in class for the final typing of the labs. Final labs are due November 2nd.

Homework: Bring completed portions of lab planner along with any necessary materials to class on Monday.

Math 8 - Stone

Today, we completed Investigation 1.2. In this lesson, we learned to use two points to create various shapes (square, rectangle, right triangle, and parallelogram). The square and right triangle proved to be the most difficult. We discovered that finding the distance between our original coordinates helped us to decide the distances for our missing points.

Have a fabulous weekend!
