Announcement

This week students met with Mrs. Ramin to determine their second quarter reading goals. We used students' reading levels along with their first quarter points earned to help determine this goal. As a reminder, students should be reading consistently at home for an average of 30-35 minutes a night.

Science- Thursday, November 12

Classwork: Began our unit on Newton's Law of motion by observing how mass affected speed of a car on a flat track.

Homework: none

Discussion Starters: What is the difference between mass and weight? What about mass and volume? How does density relate to mass and volume?

Geometry- Thursday, November 12

Classwork: More practice with congruence and triangles, some students took the Unit 2 re-take.

Individuals and Societies

-Students checked 6.2, worked on 6.3 and worked in project groups in class today.
-Homework is to complete 6.3 section assessment.
-Chapter 6 test is Monday.
