Classwork: Today is the last day of research with the computers and books on alternative fuel sources. Research packets will be checked in class tomorrow for completeness, effort, and cited sources.  Argumentative papers will be due via Google Classroom on February 8th. Tomorrow we will resume our discussion of energy systems. All late/missing work is due by tomorrow, January 26th, for credit toward second marking period grades.

Coming up: We will be discussing energy conversions next week (Tues-Fri, Monday is the MYP field trip) followed by a Quest on Energy the week of February 6th.  The quest allows students to use their notes like a quiz but the score counts as a test grade. After the Quest, students will receive a study guide for the mid-term, as well as several days in class to review. The mid-term will happen the week of February 13th with an exact date to come.
