Science

Today in our Daily Science we discussed the importance of controlling variables. We then completed a Visible Thinking routine by posing Essential Questions from our first unit on motion. Ask your student to explain how the Chalk Talk routine works!

Geometry

Today we completed the Comic Proof and shared some of the reasonings for the order of the comic along with a discussion of group norms. We then began exploring the TI-Inspire calculators that we will use this year. Next week we will begin our first unit, introducing lines, angles, constructions and proofs!
