*Due to the half day schedule students did not have RR ELA or RR Math*

RR ELA- There is no reading log over the break, but if you are missing a reading log, you may complete one over break and turn it in Wednesday ( 1.4.17) for full credit. If you are doing a reading log over break students must: read for a minimum of 30 minutes for five days, complete the short reader's response section, along with having a parent signature for all five days. Students should still be reading for a minimum of 30 minutes daily for their general English classes.

RR Math- The signed homework packet and multiplication sheet are due Tuesday ( 1.10.17) the math test will also be on Tuesday ( 1.10.17). Students notes, workbook pages, and homework packet are great study tools!

Classwork: Today we finished up our rocket racers and lab write up. The lab write up will be due after break so if kids are absent or not quite done, they can have some time to finish when we return.

Classwork: Students continued to work on their Rocket Racers and ran trials to see how far their racers ran. They then reflected on how to make improvements to their racers and ran additional trials. Students have a lab report to be completing on this project that will be due before we leave for Winter Break.

Homework: Students should be studying for the Unit 2 test on Wednesday. We went over the study guide on Friday and an answer key is also posted to the Science folder. We will be playing Jeopardy to review tomorrow in class.
