HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Your costumes were fabulous.

Remember, this is the last week of this marking period. Tomorrow you will have your Exit Ticket (quiz grade) on the first 12 perfect squares and their square root.

Today, we reviewed finding the approximate square roots of a given number without using a calculator. This will be on your quiz this Thursday. We also completed Investigation 2.3 today. We found the length of the side of a square by first finding the area of the square then taking the square root of the area.

Notes (including warm up, notes on finding a square root without a calculator, notes on investigation and completed labsheet): https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9_EAUW_J80vbjl1clhSWDQ2R0U/view?usp=sharing
