Monday, October 24

Science: Played Jeopardy to review for tomorrow's test. Tonight's homework is to study for the test tomorrow!

Geometry: Went over the 3.1 homework and 3.2 notes (angle relationships with parallel lines). 3.2 worksheet is homework. We will have a quiz on chapter 3 on Thursday. Chapter 3 test will be Friday, Nov. 4.

Pre-Algebra: We talked about distributive property and combined like terms.  Homework-worksheet 2.2,  #3 - 23 (odds), and 22.

Humanities: Mr. Lyskawa was not in the building today. Students took a test on chapters 1 and 2. No homework. Current events due Wednesday.

Algebra (Hill): Start studying for Wednesdays exam covering chapter 3 and 6. Homework finish the review packet you picked up/ started in class today. Note: If you can answer every question in the review packet correctly the test will be a piece of cake. If you get a question wrong in the review check your notes, find a similar problem and review the correct solution steps.


Language Arts: Students had a substitute today, I was at an ELA district meeting. Students received a printout of this week's vocabulary words and wrote sentences for each, underlining sentences and boxing predicates.  This was a good opportunity to catch up on reading, AR quizzes, The Giver reading for the week. Students had a substitute today, I was at an ELA district meeting. IMPORTANT: Chapters 16-19 are due Wednesday, due to Parent Teacher Conferences and the two half days we will be having our quiz on the two half days.
