Monday, March 31

Science: We started investigating properties of waves using period and frequency.

Geometry: Went over the review for tomorrow's circles test. Homework is pg. 345 #9-17 and page 709 #7-13 &17-19.


Spanish II: Study for the 5.2 chapter test this Thursday

French I: Study for the unit quizzes this Thursday

Humanities: Students continued to present projects in class today. No homework.

C. Reading:  Read- no log, enjoy!  Two students have logs due this Wednesday.

R. Room Math:  No homework packet this week.  However, keep up with your X facts.

Algebra - Homework: Chapter 9 Practice Test.  Our test is this Wednesday.


Spanish I: Repaso (in text) due today. WKST#7 due tomorrow. LAB is now Wednesday instead of Tuesday. TEST--2.3 is Thursday and Friday (remember that tests are 60% of your grade!)

Course 3: Chapter 7 test today.  No homework.

ELA- Students took their Chapter 8 Grammar Quiz.  I then handed out Historical Fiction Books.  Students had a choice of 3 books With Every Drop of Blood by J. Collier and C. Collier, In My Father's House by Ann Rinaldi, or Soldier's Heart by Gary Paulsen.  Each book has it's own schedule, all should be completed by April 17th, AR Quiz taken by April 22nd, and a final Compare Contrast Paper due by April 29th. Homework: Read first chapter section, Journal #2
Tech-Kennedy - Students found their seats, reviewed the Practices and Expectations.  Signatures due by Friday.  We then organized our H: Drives and explored the J: drive.  Our first touch typing quiz will be tomorrow.

Chinese: We learn how to say someone is doing something at a certain time during the day. Class work is on p.73.

Pre-Algebra: Today students took a look at square roots. We explored what it means for a number to be a perfect square. We also practiced some equation solving that requires using square roots to solve. HW: 9.1 (2-18 evens, 22-24 all)

Science: Only 1st & 3rd hour science classes met today. 1st hour electricity projects were returned and we talked about corrections. While today is the last day of the card marking I can update grades next week if students do corrections by Wednesday, April 2. We then went outside and students experimented with variables on the swing sets to see how those variables affected the period of the swings. 


Spanish II: Study for the chapter test on Thursday

French I: Study for the chapter 6 quizzes next Thursday


Course 3: We had fun with probability today.  No homework.  Chapter 7 test on Monday.

Algebra - Attached are the answers to the worksheet 9.6-9.8.  Have a great weekend!

Science: Circuit projects were returned to 3rd & 5th hours, 1st hour will get theirs back tomorrow. We spent the remainder of the day talking about the 8th grade trip to Cedar Point. The permission slip is attached. The link for chaperones is on the left. 

Geometry: Began working on the review for the Circles Test. The circle test is Friday.

Pre-Algebra: Chapter 6 Unit Test

Science: Took our first notes on Waves today, which focus on period and frequency. Homework is the period and frequency worksheet. 

Geometry: Investigated medians in triangles. Homework is the Centroid Handout. 


Spanish II: Ex 7, 8 and 10 pgs 353-354. Due tomorrow

French I: 6.2/6.3 worksheet is due next Monday. Study vocab on pg 197 and new grammar for the quizzes next week.

C. Reading:  A few students have logs due a week from today.  The rest of my class, gets to enjoy some time off of logs, but please continue to read!!

R. Room Math:  Test for both groups will be tomorrow.  Also, your homework packet is due tomorrow.  Any questions, please see me at lunch tomorrow before the test.  You will do great if you STUDY!!  :)

Algebra - We finished the notes on factoring.  Homework: worksheet 9.5.  Check out the answers to the 9.2,9.3,9.4 packet.

Course 3: Students must finish their review if it was not finished in class.  Chapter 7 test has been changed to Monday.  We felt like we were rushing too much:)


Spanish I: No new HW today. Finish Mexico poster (due Friday). Get all Term 3 work in by TOMORROW (Thursday--no exceptions). Print missing papers off of the 8th grade blog or sratom.blogspot.com. DO NOT wait until next week to study for 2.3 exam [know vocab, sequencing words, ER/IR verbs, ir +a+infinitive (conjugate 'ir" but DO NOT conjugate the second verb; ex:  "Voy a estudiar") and personal "a"--use for  PEOPLE who you know, see, hear, help, look for 


Pre-Algebra: Today we dedicated the entire hour to review for tomorrow's Chapter 6 test. The review is directly aligned with the concepts on the test. Be sure you are able to tackle every problem on the review. Use notes, ISN and homework/classwork to review in addition to the review. Happy Studying! Science Continued our investigation of pendulums by exploring period and frequency.Here are a few links that demonstrate pendulums: PBS Circus Acrobatics and Pendulum Simulator. 

Geometry: Constructing inscribed circles. Homework is the incenter handout. 

C. Reading:  Logs were due yesterday.  I will NOT be assigning a new log this week or over vacation.  However, if you do not turn in a log today, I will be assigning one to make up over vacation and it is due the Monday we return.

R. Room Math:  Test for both groups will be this Thursday 3/27/14.  Homework packets will also be due 3/27/14.  If you need additional support on this material, please see me during lunch time/LRC.  Also, if you turn your homework in early, I will check it prior to the test so you can study from it with correct answers.  Red group, please finish your workbook pages that were assigned to you today by tomorrow.


Algebra - Algebra - We continued factoring.  Homework:  finish notes

Chinese: We are learning how to write the characters from L10 Text 2, and practicing how to ask and answer about time. Class work is on Workbook p.103:12,  p.104: 14; p.105:16.


ELA - Students continued Chapter 8 Grammar  with Lesson 8.2 "Simple and Compound Sentences", and Lesson 8.3 "Complex Sentences" we did the first few pages together and then worked independently.  Students were then given time to read and take AR quizzes. Homework: Read Journal entry #40

Tech - students worked on Family Budget Projects, a few students were prepared to present, it was a good start.  I will allow for volunteers until tomorrow, as of tomorrow if a student is not prepared to present when called they will be considered late.


Spanish I: Wksheet--QuĂ© van a hacer . . .THURS--last day for Term 3 missing work. Mexico poster due Friday. TEST--April 3 and 4

Course 3: Homework is worksheet 7.8, # 1 - 13, 17 - 21.

Pre-Algebra: We finished up looking at examples of probability and combinations. We also looked at how the Counting Principle can be used to figure out the number of possible outcomes of an event.  The second half of the hour was spent working on our Chapter 6 Test Review.  HW: finish the even problems (2-34) on the Chapter 6 Test Review - students should come to class tomorrow with questions and the problems they had the most difficulty with. The Chapter 6 Test will be on Thursday, March 27th. 

Humanities: Students checked 14.4 and were introduced to a mini project in class today. Projects are due Friday. Homework is to work on the project.

Monday, March 24

Science: Began our unit on Waves & Sound by investigating harmonic motion using pendulums. I'm hoping to have all projects graded by the end of this week, but student may have to wait until Monday to get their scores.

Geometry: TI-Inspire calculator activity investigating the incenter of a triangle. Homework is to complete quiz corrections and the questions on the back of the incenter worksheet. Circle test is Tuesday, April 1.

Algebra - We started factoring trinomials today.  This is a super important concept for Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2.  I have attached the notes (vertical motion model & factoring) and the homework for tonight.


Humanities: Students checked 14.2/14.3 and were introduced to 14.4 in class today. Homework is to complete 14.4 section assessment.

Spanish I: HW--worksheet #5, Mexico Posters--due Friday 3/28, 2.3 TEST --April 3 and 4.NO lab on Tuesday (Wednesday instead) 

Chinese: We start Lesson 10 Text 2, and practice to ask what time is it now and what time is it according to someone's watch/clock.. 6th hour students will finish their presentation on Future Me business cards.

ELA - Students began Chapter 8 Grammar  with Lesson 8.1 "What is a Clause?", we did the first few pages together and then worked independently.  Students were then given time to read and take AR quizzes. Homework: Read Journal entry #39

Tech - students worked on Family Budget Projects, we reviewed the Design Folder and what should be in each.  If any student was ready to present they did.  I will allow for volunteers until Wednesday, as of Wednesday if a student is not prepared to present when called they will be considered late.

Science: Students finished presenting circuit projects and tests were returned. We went over the test and discussed the most common mistakes. Students should keep their tests in their binders for use in preparing for the final exam in June.

Geometry: Circles Quiz- no homework.

R. Room Math:

Spanish I: 2.3 Video Activities--If you missed this due to March Miracle, you MUST still do it (text pp144-151 has all the dialogue and info). HW--worksheet 4 and Ex. 13 on p.156 (conjugating ER/IR verbs). Go to the 8th grade blog for copies OR sratom.blogspot.com and look under Spanish Downloads (on the right) to see the PDFs. Remember that the 2.3 TEST is April 3 and 4--do NOT wait until April 2 to prepare!!

Course 3: We did a restaurant activity.  We calculated discount, tax, and tip!!  No homework.


Chinese: Due to students participation in school related activities, there will not be any new lecture or exercise today. The remaining students will watch some cartoon in Chinese.

Pre-Algebra: Students finished up some practice problems involving scale and proportions. This included a closer look at word problems involving scale in which multiple steps are required to solve.  No homework was assigned today. Keep in mind there will be a Unit 6 Test next Wednesday 3/26!

Science: Presented projects today. Tests are graded and posted on Skyward and will be returned tomorrow (there wasn't enough time with project presentations to also pass back and go over the test).

Geometry: Constructing tangents and the circumscribed angle theorem. Homework is practice on page 206 & 207 in the packet. Quiz tomorrow! 

C. Reading:  Logs are due Monday.

Spanish I: 6 sentences using the sequencing words on page 154 (complete Spanish sentences). Sequencing IS ON THE TEST!! Mexico tourism posters are due Friday 3/28 (instead of Monday 3/24). 2.3 TEST -- reading comprehension; ER/IR verb conjugation; personal "a"; using sequencing words in sentences (THURS 4/3). 2.3 TEST--listening comprehension; location vocabulary; writing answers to questions (FRI 4/4).

ELA - Students finished Chapter 7 with Lesson 3 "Infinitives and Infinitive Phrases"  the unit quiz will be tomorrow as the chapter was so short.  Homework: Study - Read - Journal # 38

Tech- Students continued to work on their Family Budget Project. Rough drafts were due yesterday and students should be working on their Power Point or Poster for final presentation.  Presentations will be next week, Design Folders should be complete prior to presenting.  Design Folder
1 - Investigate (spreadsheet and print evidence of where dollar amounts came from)
2 - Design/Plan (rough draft sheets)
3 - Create (Power Point notes pages printed or final draft of speech for Poster)

Course 3: We worked on mark ups and discounts.  They had time to work on their homework in class.  It is a packet, they could choose to do odds or evens.

Science:  Final project work day today- circuits and papers are due for presenting in class tomorrow! Attached is a copy of the rubric, the project planner and the testing/revisions log. 

Geometry: Began our discussion of tangent relationships in circles. Homework is the tangent worksheet. Quiz Friday! 


ELA - Moving on with our phrases and clauses, we did the majority of Chapter 2 Lesson 2 "Participles and Participle Phrases" together.  The remainder of the hour was for reading and taking AR quizzes. **The quiz will still be Friday!  Boys have some March Miracles Events.  They may come at lunch on Friday or at lunch on Monday to make up the quiz.  I repeat the Quiz will still be on Friday. Homework: Read  & Journal # 37

Tech - Rough Drafts are due today.  This will be included as a part of their final Design Folder.  The first section "Investigate" with their spreadsheet and print evidence of where the student found their information for their budget was due yesterday.  We will present next week.  There is no time to be late on this project.  Next Friday, March 28th is our last day of class. Rubric is attached.

Pre-Algebra: Today students completed a quiz over sections 6.1-6.5 (Rates, ratios, proportions, similar figures). No homework was assigned. As the term comes to a close, please be sure all absent work has been completed and turned in.

Science: Project work day for Alarm Circuit projects. Circuit and paper are due on Thursday.

Geometry: Investigated inscribed quadrilaterals. Homework is the 10.4 worksheet.


Humanities: Students checked 13.4 and were introduced to 14.1 in class. Homework is to complete 14.1 guided reading.

C. Reading:  Logs are due on Monday 3-24-14. 

R. Room Math:  Math packets will be due Thursday 3/27/14.

Spanish II: Exercises 12, 13, 14 pgs 355-356. Due tomorrow

French I: Study vocab on pg 197

Spanish I: HW--Worksheets 2 and 3 due Thursday.

Chinese: We are learning how to tell time on the clock. Classwork will be asking and answering about different times.

Algebra - We started multiplying polynomials.  Homework: 9.2B (1-19 odd, 20, 21) 


Pre-Algebra: Today we discussed how proportions of similar figures can be used to find the measure of a missing side. We also reviewed for tomorrow's quiz over 6.1-6.5. HW: complete the odds on the "Mid Chapter Quiz Review"

Course 3: We took a quiz today on lessons 7.1- 7.4.  Homework is worksheet 7.5, odds.

ELA - Students continued their grammar study with Chapter 6 Lesson 1 - Gerunds and Gerund Phrases.  We did the first two pages together and the remainder was to be completed in class. The rest of the hour was allocated to reading and taking AR quizzes.  I have a few students that are coming to me during lunch to read.  If your student is behind in reading you may offer this time to them as well. Tech - Students continued checking in their "Investigate" we discussed what they were missing and they should have any problems fixed before handing in their final folder.  Rough drafts are due tomorrow.

Science: Took the Electricity Unit Test. Tomorrow & Wednesday are project work days, alarm circuit project due on Thursday.

Geometry: Investigated inscribing regular polygons in circles. Homework is to complete the inscribed square and worksheet 5.2. Quiz on Friday.

C. Reading:  Logs are due today.  If you forgot to bring yours, please make sure you turn it in tomorrow for late points!  Read tonight.  Your new log was passed out and will be due Monday 3/24/14.  You may use your ELA novels for your reading log.

R. Room Math:  Homework packets will be passed out today and will be due next week on Thursday 3/27/14.



Chinese: Students are going to present their business cards in class. 2015 China Trip's Information meeting will be held at 7PM tomorrow.

Spanish II: Start studying the vocab words on pg 365 for a vocab quiz on Monday.

French I: Start studying the vocab words on pg 197. Remember that there are no more vocab quizzes, but you still need to practice writing the words

Spanish 2: The 20 sentences on pg 365 are due by Monday.

Chapter 7 - Phrases and Clauses is very short, therefore we will have our Quiz on Friday. Homework: Read, Journal #35
Tech - Students checked in their Investigate section of their Design Folder.  I checked to be sure they had all the print evidence for each line item in their spreadsheet. Homework - Rough Drafts due Wednesday.


Pre-Algebra: Today students completed a Unit Rate Collage in their Interactive Student Notebooks. They looked through grocery ads to calculate unit rates, such as dollars per ounce of ice cream.
We also took notes on similar figures in our ISN. We used colors and symbols to label corresponding sides and angles. HW: 6.4 evens (both sides) ** 6.1-6.5 Quiz moved to Wednesday (we will review in class tomorrow)

Algebra - Re-takes for Chapter 8 must be completed by this Friday.  Homework: 9.1 worksheet (all)


Creative Writing: What we did today: For St. Patrick's Day, we watched a PowerPoint and listened to a guest speaker discuss Ireland's history and the revolution of poetry. Homework: Revise compare/contrast papers. Read your historical fiction book.

Geometry: Practiced constructing circumscribed circles. Homework is the circumcenter handout. Quiz next Friday.


Spanish II: Study for the two quizzes on Monday on the verb doler and body parts hurting and command forms. There are links on my blog for practice.
French I: I moved the test to Monday, because today we had the Upstander program. Use the links on the blog to practice, as well as your old quizzes.

Humanities: Students checked 13.2 and were introduced to 13.3 in class. Homework is to finish 13.3 notes.

R. Room Math:  If you did not turn in your homework today, please make sure you do on Monday for late points. Keep working on your multiplication facts!

ELA - With the snow day and PT conferences this week we were a little behind.  Thankfully the grammar lessons were only on Conjunctions and Interjections, so we just combined both today in class.  Love those School House Rock episodes :) We will still have our Grammar Quiz next week and continue with one lesson a day and reading time each day. Homework: Study Grammar for Quiz...READ!!!!!
Tech - Investigate is going swimmingly!  Students are loving/hating this project.  Investigate is due on Monday - this entails three items 1) Spreadsheet complete 2) printed evidence of their numbers and where they came from 3) Bibliography for sources. Happy Budgeting :) Rough Drafts are due on Wednesday, March 19th

Pre-Algebra: More review of word problems involving rates, ratios and proportions. We also started looking at similar and congruent figures, and discussed how ratios and proportions can be used to compare the sizes of figures.  HW: Complete test corrections, if necessary, by Monday. Please bring grocery ads from the newspaper for an ISN activity we will complete on Monday.

Science: 1st & 3rd hour had a project work day. All classes will take the Electricity test on Tuesday.

:  You have a test this Friday.  Take your math books home and study!  Also, your homework packet will be due Friday as well, 3-14-14.  


Spanish II: Study for the quizzes on Monday on the verb doler with body parts and the negative and positive tĂş commands. Use the study guide.
 
French I: Study for the second part of the chapter 5 st tomorrow.

Spanish I: Vocab quiz--TOMORROW (3.2)-Today we are reviewing conjugations and performing restaurant skits.

Algebra - Check your answers to the Practice Test.  Come see me at lunch if you need help.  Test tomorrow!! Attached is another review and solutions. 

Humanities: Students received chapter 12 tests, reviewed 13.1 and began to work on 13.2 section assessment in class. Homework is to complete 13.2 section assessment.

Another snow day- wow, what a year!

Science: With the extra day off hopefully many students got a lot done on their circuits! 1st & 3rd hour test is still scheduled for Friday as we will meet tomorrow (1/2 day) to go over the review. 5th, 6th & 7th hour will take their test on Monday.

Tuesday, March 11

Science: Watched Bill Nye's Electricity Safety Smart. Students must bring evidence that they have started their circuit tomorrow. We will go over the review for the test tomorrow in class. Test is Friday.

Geometry: Investigated Concurrency & The Circumcenter.

C. Reading:  Logs were due yesterday.  If you did not turn in your log, you can tomorrow for late points-last day, which is better than a zero!  Your new log was passed out and will be due on Monday, 3-17-14.  Remember, you can use your book that you are reading for your English class.

R. Room Math
:  You have a test this Friday.  Take your math books home and study!  Also, your homework packet will be due Friday as well, 3-14-14.  If you turn in your math packet a day early, I will check it so you can take it home to study with correct answers!  Always remember, you can ask me questions during lunch or LRC.



Chinese: We are going to start a project of making a future business card for each student. Students are to choose their ideal profession and then make the business card in Chinese and English.

Humanities: Students were introduced to, and began to work on, 13.1 in class. Homework is to complete 13.1 section assessment.

Algebra- homework: Practice test (attached).  Our test on Chapter 8 will be this Friday.

Spanish II: Write a paragraph on the chores you have to do at home, and what your parents and siblings have to do. Due tomorrow.

French I: Study for the listening part of the chapter 5 test tomorrow.


Spanish 1: Flashcards for 2.3 due tomorrow, reading packet (from Monday) due tomorrow, 2.3 vocab quiz--FRIDAY. Be ready to do restaurant skits tomorrow in class

Art 7/8: Hrs. 1, 4 & 5
Picasso inspired crushed can faces are being completed and turned in. Be watching for a display of these in one of the front showcases. Hrs: 1 & 4 will be starting pinch pots plans this week. These will be designed around the theme of a mouth. Hr 5:  Will be creating this years March Miracles banners using last years winners! Then will move onto the clay pinch pots.
Advanced Art hr: 6 Students continue working on paper sculpture still life using either oil or chalk pastels.

Pre-Algebra: Today we reviewed unit rate and equivalent rate. We also discussed different ways of solving proportions and how unit rate and proportions can be used to solve words problems (which is a better deal?). HW: 6.2 (10-26)

ELA - Grammar Chapter 6: Prepositions.  We worked on GR 6.2 "Using Prepositional Phrases?" Then students were given time to complete their work with me and read.  Homework: READ! Journal #32
 
Technology - The Family Budget continued.  We created our spreadsheet together so all are able to easily transfer this information into a pie chart.  Students were then given time to work on their Investigate.  The time line for this project is:
 
Investigate (research gathering costs)       Should be done by Thurs 3-13 or Friday 3-14.
Plan (Rough draft of presentation)           Should be done by Tuesday 3-18.
Create (final draft publishing)                   Should be done by Friday 3-21

Monday, March 10

Science: Played jeopardy to review for Friday's test. The review that students started Friday in class is due tomorrow.  Evidence of initial circuit creation due on Wednesday.

Geometry: Continued our exploration of central and inscribed angles. The Central & Inscribed angles worksheet is homework.

Algebra- Attached are the completed notes from 8.5 and the homework for tonight

Course 3: Today we talked about using the percent proportion.  Homework is worksheet 7.3, odds.

Pre-Algebra: Today we began a new unit and started discussing rates, ratios and proportions. Students completed a foldable for their ISN. HW: 6.1 (odds)

ELA - Students began Grammar Chapter 6: Prepositions.  We worked on GR 6.1 "What is a Preposition?" Then students were given time to complete their work with me and read.  Homework: READ! Journal #31
Technology - We finished touch typing tests, everyone did better!  It is working!  We then began our final project - The Family Budget.  Students participated in the lotter of life, where they were given how many girl and boy children they have, what city they work in, and whether they are married or divorced.  Students were then given time to find their occupation in Career Cruising (only 4 years of college entry level wages, no professional athletes or famous actors/actresses).  The time line for this project is:

Friday, March 7

Science: Students began reviewing for the Electricity Test and submitted their circuit events & sketches. Lengths of wire and bulbs were also distributed to students. The review is due on Tuesday and the Electricity Unit Test is Friday, March 14. Students should begin working on building their circuits over the weekend and early next week and must provide evidence of starting to make the circuit by Wednesday, March 12.

Geometry: Began the unit on circles by investigating the relationship between arc measure, central angles and inscribed angles. Homework is practice page 196 #1-14.


C. Reading:  Your new log was passed out and is due 3/10/14.

R. Room Math:  G red, test corrections are due today, Friday.  Both groups, homework packets will be due 3/14/14.  Your test will also be on 3/14/14


Humanities: Students shared political cartoons and current events in class. No homework.



Spanish 1: Exercises 2,3, and 7 pp.150-152. Write all exercises in complete Spanish sentences.  Due Monday--put in Inbox in class. 2.3 Vocab due Wednesday (5 sentences about what you do in the park due TODAY). There is no new work due Tuesday - -we will go to the lab and work on 2.3 Vocab. Vocab quiz--Friday 3/14

Chinese: Yesterday we reviewed Unit 3 Revision from workbook again, and homework is to make correction on the practice test. Today we are going to take the Unit Test.

Course 3: Today we worked on solving and setting up proportions.  Homework is worksheet 7.2, # 1 - 22.

Spanish II: Start studying the vocab words for 5.2 on the blog.
 
French I: 5.2 worksheet is due Monday. Chapter 5 test on Tuesday.

Pre-Algebra: Today students finished up their Linear Equation Quiz and caught up on ISNs. I checked ISNs for unit 8 completion. No homework, unless you need to complete pages from Unit 8 in the ISN.

ELA - Today will be a reading and take AR quiz day.  I want to be sure that students have the time to complete each requirement.  We will be moving on to Prepositions next week.  Homework: Read. AR4 quiz is due 3/21
 
Tech- Today we went over any missing Moodle Assignments for Module 0 an Module 2.  Students were given the time to upload any missing work. When both of these tasks were completed students were given time to practice their touch typing skills on TypingWeb.com.

Algebra - We started exponential functions.  Attached is the homework and the answers to yesterday's assignment.  Remember the extra credit! (last sheet of the packet)

Science: Discussed the notes and investigation on static electricity from earlier in the week. We then completed the notes for the electricity unit. Students must have the event and idea sketch for their alarm circuit in class tomorrow. 

Geometry: Law of Sines & Cosines tests were returned and we went over them. We then briefly introduced our next unit on circles.


Spanish 2: Start studying the new rods. they are on pg 365. Extra words can be seen on my blog.

French I: 5.2 worksheet is due by next Monday.

Spanish 1: Write 5 complete sentences about what you do on the weekend, using vocab from 2.3 and previous chapters.

Humanities: Students worked on editorial cartoons in class. Homework is to complete an editorial cartoon for tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra: Today we completed an ISN page to show how linear relationships can be represented in multiple ways (equation, context, graph, table). Students learned how all of these representations are related. We also practiced writing a linear equation when given a word problem. HW: complete #s 1-4 on Linear Word Problems worksheet (in packet) We will have a short quiz on Thursday over Writing Linear Equations from a Word Problem I will also check students ISNs on Thursday (for a quiz grade) to be sure all of the unit 8 entries are complete.

Chinese: We are reviewing unit 3 by doing exercises on workbook, and then took Unit 3 Quiz part 1.

Science: Students were introduced to the "What Is Safe?" alarm circuit project today. Project due dates are listed on the attached lab planner, but the first due date is Friday, March 7 students need to have selected the event that will trigger their alarm and have made a rough sketch of how they think it will work.

Geometry: Law of Sines & Cosines test review. 


Humanities: Students reviewed for our chapter 12 test in class. Homework is to study for the test on Tuesday.

Algebra-Homework: 8.3 practice (attached)  will be collected tomorrow and checked for accuracy.

ELA - Adjective and Adverb Quiz taken, the rest of the hour was for Reading and/or AR quizzes.  AR3 is due by Friday. Homework: Journal #27 and READ!
