Math 8 - Stone
Today we worked on equation solving, estimating square roots to the nearest tenth without using a calculator, finishing our discussion of cube roots, and discussing the connections between cube roots and volume.
Homework: page 29 (59-64)
Spanish 2
Students practiced ser vs. estar today. The quiz will be tomorrow at the end of class. There are practice activities available on the textbook website (www.vhlcentral.com) under Lección 5, Estructura 5.3.
Canvasser 11.2.16 Tuesday
RR ELA- Reading logs are due Monday ( 11.7.16) students should be reading for a minimum of 30 minutes for five days a week. Students must also complete the short reader's response section, along with having a parent signature for all five days.
RR Math- Blue group can finish workbook pages ( week 4, day 2) if not completed in class. The signed homework packet and multiplication sheet are due on/before Friday (11.11.16) the math test will also be on Friday (11.11.16). Your math notes, workbook pages, and packet are great study tools!
