Homework: Study for tomorrow's test! Practice reflections, rotation & translation constructions by making your own. Review definition of each transformation (distances and other relationships). Review rules for coordinate rotations, translations and reflections....decide if your strategy will be to memorize these rules or if you would rather figure them out based on your understanding.


Spanish 2

Students completed a warm-up to practice ser vs. estar. They then watched a video about El día de los muertos and made papel picado. Ask them to share what they learned!

Math 8 - Stone

Today we completed Investigation 2.4. We learned about how to find the edges of a cube by finding the cubed root.

Classwork: Students had their last class time to type up their "How Fast Am I?" labs. These are due by midnight, November 2 submitted through Google Classroom.

Homework: Finish and submit lab. Graphs should be hand drawn and turned in during class.

Upcoming: Unit 1 test next Thursday, November 10th. Study guide will be given out tomorrow.

Canvasser 11.1.16 Tuesday

RR ELA- Reading logs are due Monday ( 11.7.16) students should be reading for a minimum of 30 minutes for five days a week. Students must also complete the short reader's response section, along with having a parent signature for all five days.

RR Math- Red group can finish workbook pages ( week 4, day 2) if not completed in class. Your signed homework packet and multiplication sheet are due on/before Friday ( 11.11.16) the math test will also be on Friday ( 11.11.16). Your math notes, homework packet, and workbook pages are great study tools!
