Math 8 - Stone

Welcome back! We got right back into quadratics today. We reviewed factoring and solving quadratics.

We have our next quiz on Wednesday. It is very straight forward (solving quadratics and equation solving).

Geometry

Classwork: Students were given the opportunity to work on the review for Wednesday's test, we will be going over the review tomorrow. A copy of the review is available in the Geometry folder. 

Homework: Because some students will be observing Passover this evening the review will not be checked for completion tomorrow.

Wilcox-Science-Monday

Classwork: We reviewed our Daily science quizzes and then took a pre-test using Plickrs about our next unit on Waves and Sound. We then discussed the phenomena of the Doppler Effect.

Homework: Cedar Point permission slips and $ is due next Wednesday, April 19th. Extra copies are in the science folder on the blog.

Reminder: During M-Step testing please check the blog more frequently if you have missed science class so you can stay up to date!

Spanish 2

Students reviewed and practiced stem-changing verbs in the preterit tense.

Homework: Complete pg. 88 worksheet if not done in class

Reminder: The end of the marking period is this Thursday. Any absent work or missed assessments need to be completed by then.

 

Canvasser 4.10.17 Monday

Happy Monday!

RR ELA- Reading logs were due Monday ( 4.17.17) students should be reading for a minimum of 30 minutes for five days a week. Students must also complete the short reader's response section, along with having a parent signature for all five days.

RR Math- Red group can complete workbook pages ( week 1, day 3) if not finished in class. The signed homework packet and multiplication sheet are due on/before Tuesday (4.18.17) the math test will also be on Tuesday ( 4.18.17). Students workbook pages, homework packet, and notes are great study tools.
