Humanities: Students reviewed the events leading to the American Revolution by working on a story board in class. Homework is to complete the story board (six panel minimum-each panel uses several sentences and a picture to describe an event leading to the Revolution-the chronology must be correct. Current events are due Wednesday.
Language Arts: Students were given time to read or work on an AR quiz...remember three quizzes are due by the end of the marking period, which is January 20th, a mere three weeks away! We then continued with our Writer's Workshop - Literary Analysis. We identified the theme of our short stories, found the paragraph(s) that supported this theme and explained why we thought that. This will go directly into our final paper for Literary Analysis, so we really need to try our best on this assignment. Homework: Read, finish Lit Analysis Day 5 or new journal entry(36)
