Science-Wilcox-Wednesday

We reviewed our DS quiz and notes. Students were given time to finish Ohm's law and review questions in class.

Math 8 - Stone

Tuesday:

We completed investigation 4.2. We worked with quadratic equations studying tables, finding the line of symmetry, etc. We talked about another method for finding the line of symmetry from the equation: x=-b/2a. You get the a and b from the coefficients in the equation.

Homework: page 80 (#5)

Wednesday:

We started investigation 4.4 today. We were sorting tables, equations, graphs, and function descriptions all based on the type of function it could be (quadratic, exponential, linear, inverse, or other). We will be looking at these again.

Homework: page 80 (7-11)
