Science-Wilcox-Monday

Classwork: Today we discussed and took notes on power, heat and electricity in homes as well as static electricity. Students then worked on review questions for both of these sections from the book (14.3/15.1). These questions are homework if not finished, due Wednesday.

Homework: Students were given the alarm circuit project details on Friday and shown examples (extras in the science folder on the blog). By Wednesday, they should come to class with a detailed, labeled sketch of their idea as well as some materials.

Suggested materials: Batteries (9V may work best), wire, electrical tape and a buzzer (if desired). We have materials in class that can be used but they have to be returned at the end of the project, which means the project will have to be taken apart.
