Friday, September 12

Science: Today students investigated how variables affect systems through experiences with rolling cars down tracks with varying inclines. We noticed the importance of controlling variables in a system.

Geometry: Took our first quiz today- students will be able to do corrections next week.

RR Math, RR English, RR LRC: I will check to make sure you have all supplies listed in the course packet this week.

RR Math: First homework packet/test will be due/on- next week Friday-9/19.



RR English: Reading logs were passed out on Monday 9/8/14. All sections (five days) will be due on Monday 9.15.14.

Pre-Algebra: Today we continued notes on 1.2, reviewing exponents and working with squares and cubes. Homework is 1.2, 2-28 even due Monday. There is a quiz on 1.1-1.3 on Friday, 9/19. Have a great weekend! http://norupstein.weebly.com/pre-algebra-notes-and-homework

Humanities: Students shared current events in class. No homework.

Algebra: Handed in PSW, discussed classification of numbers. Homework: the 7 problems at the bottom of the notes.
