Tuesday, January 10

Geometry: Went over the 6.7 homework and discussed taking measurements for the kitchen work triangle project. Chapter 6 practice test is homework. The chapter 6 test is Thursday and the midterm is Thursday, January 19.

Science: Took the Unit 3 "Quest" today. No homework. We will complete the chapter this week and start on the lab for this unit next week. The science midterm is January 30.

Humanities: -Students checked 7.1 notes and were introduced to 7.2 in the text today. Students had time to begin to work on 7.2 guided notes in class. 7.2 guided notes and current events are homework. Remember the "Big Ideas" for the Revolution are:
-Diversity-this was a world war that involved people from many countries!
-We need help-without assistance from foreign powers (France/Spain) we could not have won!

Spanish I: The midterm Spanish exam will be on Wednesday, Jan 18th and Thursday Jan 19th

Language Arts: Students continued their Literary Analysis by finalizing their Rough Drafts. They must have this ready for the morning as we will be Peer Editing tomorrow. The schedule for the remainder of the week is as follows:
Tuesday: Finish and revise rough draft.
Wednesday: Peer Editing (Sheet to be filled out) - Final Revision due for homework.
Thursday: Publish - Type in the Media Center
Friday: Finish Typing - and final paper due.
What is due on Friday as a packet in this order:
- Rubric
- Outline
- Rough Draft with revisions
- Peer Editing Sheet
- Final Draft

Pre-Algebra: We started working on factoring.  We are also working on prime and composite numbers.  Homework is the factoring sheet that I gave them.  Evens only.
