Monday, January 9

Science: Watched Bill Nye "Energy" and went over the Work & Mechanical Advantage worksheet. Quest is tomorrow, homework is to study (go over notes, practice solving problems, make flashcards, re-do homework problems).

Geometry: Went over the 6.6 homework and 6.7 notes (similarity transformations). 6.7 worksheet is homework. Chapter 6 test is Thursday, January 12.

Algebra (Hill): Study for you chapter 5 test. Use your notes, homework, and exam review packets to prepare. Your text book is full of examples to use on problems you are struggling with.

Humanities: Students reviewed the early years of the war, discussed 7.1 and began to take notes on 7.1 in class. 7.1 notes are homework. Current events due Wednesday.

Spanish I: Spanish midterm will be on Jan 18th and Jan 19th. We will be reviewing all of this week, and next Tuesday.


Algebra (Graham): Reviewing for midterm. Assignment is 2nd page (ch 3 and 4) of review packet. Exam is January 17th and 18th.

Language Arts: Students continued their Literary Analysis by finalizing their outlines, adding claims and summarizing their supporting details. The examples are attached. The schedule for the week is as follows:
Monday: Finish Outline, start rough draft.
Tuesday: Finish and revise rough draft.
Wednesday: Peer Editing (Sheet to be filled out) - Final Revision due for homework.
Thursday: Publish - Type in the Media Center
Friday: Finish Typing - and final paper due.
