Math 8 - Stone

Today, we worked on solving a system of equations in all the ways we have learned (graphing, substitution, and elimination). You did a great job!

We also spent a long time going over the homework. Number 30 was a tough one. Both equations in the system needed to be multiplied by different numbers in order to use elimination.

Classwork: Today we are going over the answers to the study guide. An answer key will be posted in the science folder.

Tomorrow we will play Jeopardy review and do more practice with frequency/amplitude.

Sound & Waves test on Monday, May 15. No notes allowed, students should be studying!

Canvasser 5.11.17 Thursday

RR ELA- Reading logs are due Monday ( 5.15.17) students should be reading for a minimum of 30 minutes for five days a week. Students must also complete the short reader's response section, along with having a parent signature for all five days.

RR Math- The blue group can complete workbook pages ( week 3, day 3) if not finished in class. The signed homework packet and multiplication sheet are due on/before Tuesday ( 5.16.17) the math test will also be on Tuesday ( 5.16.17). Students homework packet, notes, and workbook pages are great study tools!
