What We Did Today:
We began an overview of Chapter 9, discussing nationalism and the big events that will be covered in the chapter. Students also started reading Chapter 9, Section 1 in class.

Homework:
Read Chapter 9, Section 1, pages 298 - 301. Do 1 - 3 of the Section 1 Assessment on page 301. The audio version of the text is available as an mp3 on Google Classroom.
Announcements:
- Students will receive information about the Chapter 9 Assessment this Wednesday.
- There is a Current Event due this Friday as an assessment grade.
