Tuesday, March 4

Science: Students investigated static electricity.

Geometry: Went over the review for tomorrow's test, ambiguous cases and Law of Sines & Cosines handout. Homework is to study for the test.

Spanish II: Study 5.1 vocab for listening part of test tomorrow
 
French I: 5.2 worksheet is due on Monday. Chapter 5 test is on Monday.

Spanish I: A) 2.2 TEST tomorrow-- question words: who, where, what, when,which, how many, why, to where. Remember that a few are plural and 1 matches gender; know IR and ESTAR; you must know VOCABULARY relating to PLACES. B) Escuchar and Voacbulario packets are due tomorrow. C) Classwork review from Monday is due tomorrow. D)Crossword from last week is due tomorrow

Course 3: Test today.  No homework.

Humanities: Students took the chapter 12 summative assessment in class. No homework.

C. Reading: If you forgot, please turn it in tomorrow for late points-last day.  Your new log was passed out today and due 3/10/14.

R. Room Math:  G red, test corrections due this Friday.  Both groups, homework packets will be due 3/14/14.

ELA - We reviewed using citations correctly and did a little research practice as a class, the rest of the hour was for Reading and/or AR quizzes.  AR3 is due by Friday. Homework: Journal #28 and READ!
 
Tech - Students began their EDP (Education Development Plan) in Career Cruising with Mrs. Helms. 

Algebra - homework:  8.4B (evens)

Pre-Algebra: Today we completed an ISN page to show how linear relationships can be represented in multiple ways (equation, context, graph, table). Students learned how all of these representations are related. We also practiced writing a linear equation when given a word problem. HW: complete #s 1-4 on Linear Word Problems worksheet (in packet) We will have a short quiz on Thursday over Writing Linear Equations from a Word Problem I will also check students ISNs on Thursday (for a quiz grade) to be sure all of the unit 8 entries are complete.

Chinese: We are reviewing unit 3 by doing exercises on workbook, and then took Unit 3 Quiz part 1.
