Friday, October 18

Science: 2nd & 3rd hour peer reviewed the "How Fast Am I?" lab, final drafts are due on Monday. 4th-7th hours started working on the unit 1 review. We will continue working on this in class on Monday, so it is NOT homework. Relax and enjoy the weekend!

Geometry: Went over the 3.2 homework and took notes on 3.3 (converses of 3.2). Homework is the 3.3 worksheet. 3.1-3.4 quiz will be on Wednesday, October 24.

Algebra: Problem Solving Workshop #3, due on Monday!

ELA - We survived the MEAP! Today students took their Vocabulary #5/Science Fiction quiz, read, took AR, and spoke about our experiences in college. Both Ms. Mayrand and I took different paths that lead us to education, the message; just do it, find the right path but always keep learning. We will be printing out the AR quizzes students have taken thus far so you can see if they are missing any quizzes. We will be starting the class novel The Giver by Lois Lowry on Monday and this unit will take us through the end of the marking period. Have a Great Weekend! Homework: READ!

Humanities: Students shared current events and worked on with our history atlas in class. No homework.

Spanish I: 1st and 2nd hour- finish the questions on Maricela and the worksheet on the verb ser. ALL hours - study for the quiz on 1,2 (part 1) on Monday.

Course 3: 1st hour-ws 2.7, #7 - 12, 16 - 21, 2nd hour-ws 2.7, #7 - 12, 16 - 22, 3rd hour-ws 2.7, #7 - 12, 16 - 22, 4th hour-ws 2.3, #3-23 odds, 5th hour-ws 2.3, #5-19 odds and 23.
