Geometry: Discussed the Kitchen Work Triangle project in detail and looked over examples from previous years for inspiration. The final project is due on Tuesday, January 22. 

Science: Shared graphing results from Investigation 3-B and then predicted how fast the car should have gone based on the Law of Conservation of Energy. Students then compared their actual speeds with the predicted speeds and discussed any possible reasons they might not have been the same. 

Spanish I: Study for the midterm next week on Wed, Jan 23rd and Thurs Jan 24th.

Humanities: Students checked 7.3 guided reading, discussed Student News and shared current events in class. Homework is to complete 7.4 section assessment.


ELA - students worked on a Grammar Packet for the hour. Completed packets are due tomorrow for homework. Homework - Grammar Packet. read, Journal Entry

Pre-Algebra: Multiplying fractions.  Homework:  5.4 (multiples of 3,25,26)

 

Algebra: Chapter 5 practice test (all except for 15 and 16)
