Science: Completed Investigation 15-A (Electric Charge) and collected circuit plans. Quiz corrections are due on Friday, if students are going to Chicago then they should turn in their corrections on Friday.
Geometry: Went over the 9.5 notes (Compositions of Transformations) and quizzes were returned. 9.5 worksheet is homework.
Technology 8 - Orlando: What we did today: Students worked on typing and
explored some other websites. Homework: No homework. No class tomorrow
because of the field trip Discussion topics: How many words can you type per minute?
Humanities: Students practiced and performed our historical poetry in class. Students
also had an opportunity to work on 12.3 free choice in class. 12.3 and current events are due Friday.
Spanish I: Study 2.3 vocab (part 2) for a quiz on Thursday, March 21st. The vocab
packet that goes with these words is also due the same day.
Tech 8 (Stein): Watched a video on planning and designing a publication. Viewed an example
and created a hard copy rough draft of the college research brochure. All links,
documents and the rubric are available on www.edmodo.com. Brochures are due Tuesday,
March 19.

Algebra: Today we went over our quizzes from Monday, did some review problems from 8.3, and introduced Friday's activity. No homework today. I tried to attach the equation solving assignment that is due on Monday (hope it works).
ELA - Students graded their Grammar Chapter 4 Lesson 3 (4.3) Linking Verbs and Predicate Words. Then began working on their next lesson 4.4 Principal Parts of Verbs. This is a concept that is being or has been taught in Spanish as well so it should be fairly easy :) When they completed the assignment they were given the rest of the hour to read. As always I am open at lunch for any clarification or a quiet reading environment. Homework: Grammar 4.4, READ! Journal entry #29. Remember all AR quizzes are due Monday, March 25th, the last day of the marking period is the 28th (a half day)
