Math 8 - Stone

Today, we went over how to go from expanded form to factored form with polynomials. We are continuing to recognize patterns and develop strategies. We heard a lot of, "what is the greatest common factor" today! Remember the box can be a very useful tool to use right now.

Geometry

Classwork: Students worked on developing proofs for parallelogram criteria in their groups.

Spanish 2

Students took notes on reflexive verbs and worked on verb charts.

Science-Wilcox-Monday/Tuesday

Classwork: We are doing an investigation into heat, temperature, and conduction today and tomorrow. Students should be sure to have their notes, homework assignments, and review questions organized and ready for the Quest on Wednesday.

Coming up: Open note Energy Quest on February 8th. Alternative fuel papers are due via Google Classroom by midnight on February 8th. Students will be given the mid-term review later this week in preparation for the mid-term covering units 1-3 next week.

Happy Monday!

RR ELA- Reading logs were due today, if you did not turn one in you may do so tomorrow for late points. The new reading logs are due Monday ( 2.13.17) students should be reading for a minimum of 30 minutes for five days a week. Students must also complete the short reader's response section, along with having a parent signature for all five days. Page 35 in students grammar packets are due Friday ( 2.10.17)

RR Math- The blue group can finish workbook pages ( week 1, day 3) if not completed in class. The signed homework packet and multiplication sheet are due on/before Thursday ( 2.9.17) the math test will also be on Thursday ( 2.9.17). Students workbook pages, notes, and homework packet are great study tools!
