Wednesday, January 4

Tentative Midterm Dates:
January 17 & 18 - Algebra
January 19 - Geometry
January 31 - Science

Science: Today we completed a jigsaw notetaking activity on pages 70-72 & 91-93. No homework, "Quest" on Monday.

Geometry: Went over the 6.4 homework and completed 6.5 notes (proving triangles similair by SSS and SAS). 6.5 worksheet is homework. 6.1-6.5 quiz tomorrow, chapter 6 test on Thursday, January 12. 

Spanish I: 2.1 test on Monday, January 9th.

Humanities: Students created classroom time lines for the events leading to the American Revolution, watched CNN student news, turned in homework folders and shared current events in class. No homework.

Pre-Algebra: We worked on a review for our test on chapter 3 on Friday.  We will review tomorrow.

Language Arts: Students were given time to finish their journal entry from yesterday, read, or take AR quizzes at the beginning of class.  We then moved on to Day 6 of our Literary Analysis Writer's Workshop.  This is going to be checked tomorrow for a grade.  Attached is the lesson printout, it can also be found on my district web page. Homework: Read, Home journal entry, and Day 6 journal entry.

Algebra (Graham) Chapter 5 test tomorrow!  I have attached an extra copy of the review.  Good luck studying!
