Science: Took quiz, no homework.
Geometry: Went over the practice test. Chapter 6 test is tomorrow, homework is to study. The kitchen geometry project due date has been moved to Thursday, January 21 to avoid conflicts with the Humanities Project.
Algebra: 5.5 Day 1 HW Pg. 322 #3-11 ALL
Algebra 2: 7.1/7.2 Pg. 482 #6-14even, #15-23odd AND Pg. 489 #7-13 odd, #17-23 odd. Test on Friday.
Pre Algebra: We continued to review for Chapter 4 Test. Today we did a timed review and will go over it tomorrow. What we do not finish is homework. Pg. 158
Course 3: Baker- We went over 6.3, did more practice problems and then worked on 6.4. No homework. Austin- We finished notes on lesson 6.1. We did more practice problems. No homework.
LA- Journal #8 - Write or list the pros and cons of being a tomato. Try to think of the advantages and disadvantages that no one else will consider. Students took the Pigman quiz on Ch 11-13 and I collected the vocabulary. Students started on the vocabulary for Ch14-15.
Ch14 - incongruous, tribute, disheartened, sheepishly, audibly, proficiency, disposition
Ch15 - senile, crane, lingered. HW - Ch14 -15 vocabulary. Study for the literary elements test 1/15.
Journalism - finishing up news articles and putting the paper together.
Career Tech has finished presenting their "Family Budgets" and has begun their Investigate of their "Cover Letters". Homework, find a job posting to apply to. Thursday we will review a few sample cover letters and critique them.
