LA - Journal #4 - Write about what you think your life will be like when you are old. (This was an interesting journal because "old" to the students and "old" to me were COMPLETELY different!) Checked Ch 9 and 10 vocabulary homework. Students took a T/F quiz on Ch 10. HW - none.
Journalism - Students sold the 1st edition of the "Hawks Nest!" Students worked on their rough/final drafts for the next issue. HW - working on their articles.
Spanish 1: I have a number of observations about what we are working on these days and I am including them in the attachment called Observations about January 7. The homework for tomorrow is to fix all errors from p. 113#15. We also drilled vocabulary in the form of a circle game in preparation for next week's chapter 2-1 test.
Spanish 8: The kids took a small quiz about Spanish traditions. We are going to start El Libro de la Selva (the Jungle Book) in Spanish. It's a lot of fun!
