F 9/9: Materials due (including an AR book for first quarter!) & signed syllabus due

F 9/9: Summer reading AR quizzes due

RR Math, RR English and RR LRC:

Course syllabus was discussed. Please review with your child and both need to sign the last page of the packet. Student can keep the packet and just return the last page to me. This is due on or before 9/12. All students need to get the supplies listed in the packet by 9/12 as well please. There is also a parent contact form that was passed out in LRC class-please fill it out and have your child return it by 9/12.

*Donations of tissue, hand soap, hand sanitizer and/or wipes for the desk are great!!

Students should bring a book to class daily starting tomorrow- one they are reading for AR is recommended.

Science

Welcome to 8th Grade! Today we discussed the course expectations and reviewed the syllabus. A student and parent signature are required as the first homework assignment due Friday. Then we spent time discussing how we could establish Essential Agreements as a class as a way to achieve success in those course expectations.

Geometry- Tuesday, September 6

Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year! Today students took a pre-test and began working on setting norms for the school year. We also discussed the syllabus and expectations for have a successful  year in geometry.

Please take a moment to check your grades on Skyward. Boggle extra credit and all missing assignments are due by Thursday. I am available at lunch Wednesday and Thursday for any students who need my assistance or need to use a computer.
