Math 8 - Stone
Today, we had our second Check Up for this Unit. It was pretty short and sweet. After students were given time to start working on their homework. Only two investigations left!
Homework: 1-3, 21-31
Science-Wilcox-Tuesday
Classwork: We looked at graphs of frequency and amplitudes and discussed their properties. We also listened to animal sounds and graphed their frequencies and amplitudes.
Coming up: Our next unit on light will be short and followed by an open note Quest.
Canvasser 5.16.17 Tuesday
RR ELA- Reading logs were due yesterday, if you did not turn one in you may do so tomorrow for late points. The new reading logs are due Monday ( 5.22.17) students should be reading for a minimum of 30 minutes for five days a week. Students must also, complete the short reader's response section, along with having a parent signature for all five days.
RR Math- The signed homework packet and multiplication sheet were due today. If you did not turn one in, you may do so tomorrow for late points. Both groups took their math test today.
*Students need to bring their AR books to class and home daily!*

Math 8 Stone
Happy Monday! Only 5 weeks left.
Today we went over the additional practice from Friday to review for our Check Up tomorrow. After reviewing we began investigation 3.1. In the investigation we compared two different alarm system companies with helped us begin our discussion about inequalities.
Here is the additional practice answer key, per Kelly's request :)
No homework tonight but be sure to go over systems of equations to prepare for the Check Up. Make sure to get all missing assignments turned in.
Spanish 2
Students practiced irregular verbs in the preterit and took notes on verbs that change meaning in the preterit tense.

RR Math- The blue group can complete workbook pages ( week 3, day 4) if not finished in class. The signed homework packet and multiplication sheet are due Tuesday ( 5.16.17) the math test will also be on Tuesday ( 5.16.17). Students workbook, notes,and homework packet are great study tools!
