Canvasser 4.18.16 Monday
Happy Monday!
RR ELA- Reading logs are due today! If you did not turn one in today, you can do so tomorrow for later points! New reading logs are due Monday (4.25.16) students should be reading for a minimum of 20 minutes( five days a week) do not forget to complete the reader's response section, along with having a parent signature for all five days.
RR Math- Red group can finish day one workbook pages, if you did not complete them in class. The blue group continued to work on their test corrections.

Classwork
Today we reviewed a few mentor articles (posted to Google Classroom) and discussed what we noticed about each of the articles (structure, language, leads, text features, etc). Then, students began drafting their own news article or video script.
Homework
Complete your rough draft, due Monday.
Extra Credit Opportunity: Book Selfie (Due Monday - see template in Google Drive folder)
Dixon Language & Literature
Classwork: Students began writing a first draft of their article or news video script
Homework: A complete first draft must be finished by Monday
Science- Thursday & Friday, April 14 & 15
Classwork: Students discussed wave and moving energy as well as reviewed wave interactions. We completed the wave interaction practice together in class (a copy is in the science folder).
