Canvasser 11/13/15

Happy Monday!

RR English:  Reading logs were due today.  If you did not turn yours in please make sure you do on Tuesday.  No new reading logs will be given out this week.  However, I do expect that you read daily for at least 20 minutes each night.  You need to be reading for general education English AR anyways.  :)

RR Math:  Work on homework packets and X facts.  Blue group- finish workbook pages from class.

RR LRC:  Reminder, co-teaching tomorrow (Tuesday).


Individuals and Societies

-Students turned in Amendment projects and took part one of the Geo. Bee in class today.  We will finish the Geo Bee tomorrow and I will not see students on Wednesday, as it is a flip day/half day.
-There is no homework for the week.
-I hope everybody has a wonderful Thanksgiving break!!

Draft 2 body paragraphs (one "extended" and one "connected")

Science- Friday, November 20

Classwork: Took notes on Newton's 2nd Law.

Homework: None

Discussion Starters: Make sense of this punny saying "May the mass times acceleration be with you".
 

Geometry- Friday, November 20

Classwork: Quizzes were returned and discussed, then we worked on the congruence test review.

Homework: Unit 3 test review. Test is Tuesday

Discussion Starters: On a scale of 1-10, how much do you like proofs now? How much did you like them a month ago?

Canvasser 11.19.15 Friday

RR ELA- Reading logs are due Monday (11.23.15)
Students should be reading for a minimum of 20 minutes ( 5 days a week)
Make sure you complete the short reader's response section, along with a parent signature!

RR Math- Math packet is due on/or before Wednesday (12.2.15)
The math test will also be on Wednesday (12.2.15)
The packet, workbook pages, and notes are great study tools!

Ramin - ELA - 11/19/20

Classwork
Students met with conference groups to discuss the topic and theme in their chosen short stories. Then, they began writing an outline for their literary essay. (Writer's Workshop - Day 8) 

Homework
Complete literary essay outline. Be ready to begin drafting your body paragraphs tomorrow.
